Working groups will be developed over the course of the network, and will culminate in an in-person meeting, approximately 3 days long.
Initially, two or three specialists will be invited to present the latest results and open problems. This presentation will be followed by discussion and collaboration opportunities.
Each MMI faculty member will be invited to identify with working groups. They and their trainees will be invited to working group activities. Over the three years, working group members will also be encouraged to meet regularly online to discuss common mathematical challenges, collaborate on research projects, and identify funding opportunities and partners. .
