Graduate students and postdocs needed for a BIRS Worskhop (for 2026)

We have received a request from one of our members, Anotida  Madzvamuse from UBC who is looking for graduate students and postdocs, as well as early career fellows (assistant professor level) to sign up to participate in a  BIRS workshop in 2026 (subject to approval). The proposed workshop is on:

*A roadmap towards developing mechanobiochemical models for single and
collective cell migration through complex non-isotropic environments*.

PIMS Courses

Please note that, in some cases, registration deadlines may be up to six weeks in advance of the course start date for the PIMS Math Courses. The 2 courses currently offered are:  

  • Advanced studies in Theoretical and Computational Biology (Anotida Madzvamuse, UBC –  am823@math.ubc.ca)
  • Mathematical Ecology – Nonlinear PDE Models ( Rebecca Tyson, UBCO –  rebecca.tyson@ubc.ca)
