- Pasteur Institute (Paris) and NeuroMyogene Institute (Lyon) These projects use image analysis for quantification of photographic data, and dynamical systems coupled to model calibration and selection to investigate the organization of structural polymers (cytoskeleton) in cells. Cytoskeletal polymers play a role in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, and have been recently identified as a key player in pathogen infection. (S. Portet, lead)
- Amgen British Columbia and Mitacs The project develops new algorithms and implements bioinformatics pipelines for cryo-EM guided drug design. It applies deep learning based methods to improve the reconstruction of an atomic model for membrane proteins and antibody receptors, that are further coupled with Molecular Dynamics simulations to reveal mechanisms underlying drug binding affinity.
